This week we solve the mystery is the grass really greener on the other side? I had a conversation with the clients earlier in the week that felt that they weren’t achieving the goals that they wanted in their business and they felt that it was time for a change. This business owner was just stuck instead of persevering and pushing through that challenge in that moment he just wanted to give it all up and he wanted to do something else because there was a perception that the grass was greener on the other side. In my experience it may appear to be but the grass is greenest where you water it. This is about perseverance today’s episode is really about helping you understand things aren’t always easier or better or faster on the other side. It takes time and it takes effort to get attraction to get better and it is human nature to want to shortcut its human nature to want an easy life and there’s always this perception that if we just diversify if we just change if we just do this that things will be so much easier when often it isn’t because just when you get to the other side you’ll realize that the grass isn’t quite as green as what you’d hoped and you have to start watering it then you have to start putting all of that effort back in. Now I’m not suggesting that if something is truly not working and you’ve put all of your sweat and tears and effort into something that you shouldn’t change if something is really not working and you’re not getting the traction then you do need to genuinely change but what we’re talking about is not flitting about not looking for shortcuts because life is about focus it’s about perseverance and making things work and pushing through the barriers and obstacles until you get the results that you want.
