So what is the secret to success? Other than hiring a business coach with a white shirt, glasses, short hair, Portuguese surname and a South African accent, it is all about your ability to find and develop A players” 

What I mean by this? Well, an A player is someone who can achieve the outcomes you set, it is somebody who is easy to manage, it’s someone who is a great culture fit, they’ve got the right attitude and they are fully engaged in your business. 

The thing is, if you don’t have “A players” on all of the key seats on your bus you are going to struggle. Business is a team sport, I know it’s a cliche. Still, it really is, and if you don’t have the right bums on seats around you, you’re never going to fulfill your true potential and life is always going to be more challenging. A players get things done, A players have the right attitude A players are essential in helping you identify the right strategy for your business and implement that strategy. 

So if you aren’t getting what you need from your team, I have a question for you: where do you need a couple of A players,” and what do you need to do as a business to make yourself attractive to the right talent in the marketplace?
